About me

Why am I here?

Health and fitness is my passion, it always has been. Growing up I was always playing sports every season throughout the year. Soccer and snowboarding have always been my favorite. When I wasn't playing sports I was always trying to be outdoors. It wasn't until after my senior year of high school that I started to become a "gymrat".

During the winter of my senior year of high school (about 5 years ago) I made the decision to play College soccer at a junior college in Utah. That spring, I tore my ACL entirely playing my last game of club soccer. I was devastated knowing that I was hurt and thinking there was a chance I wouldn't be able to play soccer again. I had a lot of people, including doctors, tell me that I shouldn't play anymore. That sparked something inside of me. I knew what I wanted and I wanted to play soccer. A day after my surgery I found some dumbbells and as I laid on my couch I was doing bicep curls, shoulder press, tricep extensions, and anything else I could do to feel stronger. As soon as I got the "OK" I was in the gym one to two times a day plus doing physical therapy 3 times a week. That is where I started to fall in love with the gym and working on myself. I ended up coming back from that injury stronger than I was before. I did end up playing soccer and loved it!

Now, I love functional training, crossfit, weightlifting, high intensity interval training, cycling, and everything in between.

I have been through a lot of trial and error to create something amazing. I created addiefitness to help people fall in love with fitness as much as I did.

I am here to help you become your best self through health and fitness.
